This beautifully made little wren brings a smile to everyone, especially paired with his lovely brown mate. An unexpected bonus was the fine motor skills needed for little hands to carefully set it down so it balances on its feet. A proud smile of happiness is generated each time.

We are lucky enough to be surrounded by these wrens where I live in NSW, and they are my favourite. Usually we are all drawn to the flashy blue of her mate, but the details and carefully carved shape of this little figure has captured our hearts. I was looking for a little Tassie devil as a memento the last time I was in Tasmania, but nothing captured their essence as well as this little guy. The inquisitive pose, the sharp painted teeth, even the angle of the cheeky stubby whiskers! The details are what makes this figure come alive, and elicits a smile from adults and kids alike every time.

This little quoll has quickly become a firm favourite, with it's active pose and the cutest face. It looks delicate, but is sturdy and easy to handle for little hands.
